The programme aimed to provide decent work and adequate income to Somalis, empower women and improve household resilience to shocks. SEJ was funded by the Diakonia Foundation and was carried out by four local implementing partners (IPs), consisting of KAALO Aid Development (KAALO), the Forum for African Women Educationists – Somalia Chapter (FAWESOM), the Galkayo Education Center for Peace and Development (GECPD) and the Puntland Office of Human Rights Defenders (POHRD)
