CIRSI Institute
CIRSI is a fast-growing non-profit think tank with a mission to conduct rigorous policy research on some of the most pressing social issues faced in Somalia and fragile states in Sub-Saharan Africa at large. Being a Somali-led organization, CIRSI’s approach is to partner with local and international researchers and engage affected people through innovative research solutions. The organization’s commitment to rigorous scientific methods, coupled with its data-driven approach and rich contextual understanding of local conditions guarantee that CIRSI’s research products lead to rigorous and locally validated insights which translate into meaningful programmatic and policy changes. Registered both in Somalia and Kenya, CIRSI maintains an office in Nairobi as well as in Mogadishu and Garowe.
