Recognizing that Somalia’s complex governance, economic, and social challenges demand evidence-based solutions grounded in local realities, we conduct rigorous research to inform policymaking. Our initiatives aim to strengthen government accountability, enhance the delivery of essential services, and promote inclusive development frameworks that benefit all Somalis.
A cornerstone of our efforts to translate research into action is the Annual Policy and Research Symposium. This flagship event serves as a vital platform, bringing together policymakers, leading researchers, civil society organizations, and development partners. Through thoughtful deliberation on evidence-based findings, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and generating practical policy recommendations, we ensure that the voices of Somali communities are heard and that national development agendas are informed by robust local research.
